About the festival
The WonderClip × GenTube AI Film Festival invites creators, filmmakers, marketers, agencies, and AI enthusiasts to explore a new era of storytelling — where people and AI create side by side. Using WonderClip, create an original AI pilot episode inspired by the theme "Made Together — Stories of You, Me & AI" — a compelling story, world or characters that could grow into a larger series.

Wan Qi is a Solution Architect at Alibaba Cloud, where she works with startups and high-growth enterprises to adopt and scale cloud and AI-driven solutions. She specialises in translating business ideas into practical, scalable architectures, with a focus on cloud-native design, AI integration and helping founders and technical teams unlock innovation through modern infrastructure.
Jaze Phua is a Singapore-based filmmaker, content creator and entrepreneur working at the intersection of storytelling, technology and entertainment. With millions of followers across social media, he is the Founder of GenTube and DEAR.AI, and Co-Founder of AICON, Singapore’s AI festival focused on making AI accessible to everyone. His work spans filmmaking, generative AI, creator education and building new platforms for the next generation of AI creators.
Jayce Tham is a creative industry leader and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience across creativity, media and technology. She is the Co-Founder of CreativesAtWork, a leading creative network connecting businesses with curated freelance talent, and DEAR.AI, a generative AI content studio exploring the future of AI-powered creative production. Her work focuses on human-led AI innovation and how emerging technologies can enhance storytelling, content creation and creative workflows.
With several years of hands-on experience in AI image generation, David has developed strong expertise in generative AI tools and workflows, particularly ComfyUI and AUTOMATIC1111.
His experience spans Stable Diffusion workflows, including working with different models and checkpoints, LoRAs, ControlNet, inpainting, upscaling, and advanced node-based workflows. He is also experienced in experimenting with models, parameters, and customised workflows to achieve consistent, high-quality visual outputs.
Combining technical knowledge with practical experience in AI-generated visuals, David brings a valuable perspective to evaluating the creativity, visual quality, technical execution, and effective use of generative AI.

The competition is co-organised by Alibaba Cloud Singapore and GenTube.
Participants must register via the official competition link. After registration you will receive unique WonderClip login credentials by email — use these to access the platform and start creating.
Participants will receive 150 WonderClip credits initially. An additional 500 credits will be automatically topped up once the balance falls below the designated threshold. The maximum total credits allocated per participant is 5,000 credits.
If a participant's usage exceeds the allocated credit limit, they may be required to purchase additional credits at their own expense.
By submitting, participants grant Alibaba Cloud a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, adapt, publish, and distribute the submitted videos for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes.
Intellectual property rights remain with the participant, provided there is compliance with Alibaba Cloud's ethical AI usage standards.
